About Juniper & Pine Founder Anna Perkins
Juniper & Pine Organics was founded from a lifetime of trying to find a skincare product that would work for me. I have a combination skin type and my sister has a sensitive one that reacts to everything, so we would constantly discuss our skincare routines – what products worked, what didn’t and how we wished there were other natural and organic lines on the market that worked better.
For a few years, I covered up my skin with makeup, hoping that the foundation and concealer would erase, or at least hide the problems before I finally realized that I had to get my skincare act together to get to the root cause of my skin frustrations. In that moment, I decided that if I wanted a better non-toxic skincare solution, I would have to make it myself. And so Juniper & Pine was born to provide a natural, plant-based product that would work for me and my sister, who was my ultimate test in creating products that were gentle, irritant-free but still highly effective.
I worked closely with a team of chemists who specialize in natural and organic ingredients to help me transform my ideas into tangible products that I loved.

We also choose our ingredients for their experiential benefits such as: product texture, inherent aroma, and natural color, that goes beyond their primary role as skin boosting powerhouses. Examples of such plant-based ingredients include papaya seed oil, rosehip powder, green kaolin clay, chamomile flower powder, aloe vera, and many more.
